Sizes are parameters, not fixed objects. Type any width, height, depth or count and the family flexes in Revit. Browse, place, fork and edit — free during beta, no account needed to start.
Every width, height, depth and count is a real Revit family parameter with a formula behind it. Common sizes ship as family types; anything else you type is still a valid family.
Each family is generated in Revit and flexed through every one of its types, and the result is compared against the preview before it reaches the library.
Start from a family in the library, fork it, and edit the node graph in your browser — or build one from scratch. Extrusion, Blend, Revolution, Sweep and SweptBlend.
How it works
- Browse the library in your browser — by category, or your favourites.
- Open a family to see it in the 3D viewport with its parameters and types.
- Place it into your Revit project through the add-in, or generate the
.rfaand load it yourself. - Fork and edit anything: change a size, add a parameter, rewire the graph.
The editor runs in a normal browser, and the same editor runs as a panel inside Revit 2022–2027. Nothing is needed at runtime once the family is generated — the .rfa is parametric on its own, driven by Revit's solver.
Free during beta
The whole library is free while Molding is in beta: no locked families, no seat limit, no paywall. Browsing, opening, placing and generating need no account at all. Signing in with a 3dshouse account is only needed to save your own models, favourite a family, or fork one into your account.
